We regretfully announce the passing of Deja Johnson, who passed away surrounded by her loved ones on March 14, 2023. Deja had a difficult battle with leukemia and is finally at rest. She will be forever loved and forever remembered. A warrior throughout life, she was 38 years old. 

She is survived by many loving individuals, including her mother Tina Lemaire of Jackson, Mississippi and her father Ronald Johnson. She leaves three sisters, Christina Lemaire of Houston, TX, Shanell Jones (Adrian) of New Iberia, LA , and Kaliyah Johnson of Dallas, TX. One brother Dewayne Johnson of Baton Rouge, La.  Three aunts , Nadine Francis (John) of Jackson Mississippi , Tameka Johnson of Beaumont (Fred), TX, and Florence Howard if Beaumont, TX. She is preceded in death by her great grandparents Lily and James Johnson of Beaumont, TX. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 at New Life Hope Christian Center. Funeral Repass and gravesite details will be posted later as the family makes arrangements.
