It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Debra Skidgel, who left us too early on November 25, 2025. Born on August 18, 1966, Debra was a woman of strength, a trait that was evident in all aspects of her life.
A loving mother and sister, Debra is survived by her children: daughters Ashley Phaneuf, Brittiney Davis, and Krystle Belcher, and sons Douglas Church and Shannon Skidgel. Her loss will be keenly felt by her brothers, Bruce and Raymond Skidgel, and her sister, Rhonda Stewart.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Gail and Jerry Skidgel. Their values and teachings guided Debra throughout her life and shaped her into the wonderful person that we all knew and loved.
A woman of many passions, Debra was an avid supporter of the Patriots. She reveled in the thrill of the game and found joy in the camaraderie of sports. Debra was also an extraordinarily talented cook. Her culinary creations were a testament to her creativity and love for her family, as she often spent hours in the kitchen preparing meals that would bring everyone together.
Debra's strength was her defining characteristic. Not only physical, but mental and emotional strength was her hallmark. Her resilience in the face of adversity was inspiring, and it is that indomitable spirit that we will remember and cherish.
While we mourn her loss, we also celebrate her life, her accomplishments, and the precious memories she has left behind. Debra's love and warmth will remain a beacon of comfort and strength for all of us. She will be deeply missed.
