I was so sorry to hear about DJ's passing. It was truly a pleasure for me to get a tiny glimpse into her life. She was such a lovely and kind lady with an amazing sense of humor. 

We enjoyed so many lovely conversations over mugs of tea and had a lot of common interests, especially our love  of Ireland   ☘️

DJ and Tom became best friends to Bruce and I due to Bruce’s ALS.   He was a firefighter that for years did Fill the Boot for MDA….. never knowing he would be in need for help .   He met DJ when he was diagnosed and the friendship lasted with DJ, Tom and both Bruce and I for so many years.   The joy she and Tom brought into our lives was remarkable.  Our kids became very close to her and we all traveled to California for the MDA telethon.   We traveled alot with DJ for MDA…. And brought firefighters to understand how important they were to help MDA.   We would always laugh about how much DJ loved the firefighters.

DJ brought hope, laughter, love and fight to beat these diseases.  Her smile was never ending.  She is in heaven Tom, Bruce, Mattie and his mom and brother  and so many more that she cared about and loved.   Heaven is rejoicing in her presence ♥️
