Debbie's obituary

Debra Sue Korpela (Debbie)

Age 70 years. Found peace Saturday, April 6th, 2024.

Preceded in death by her loving mother and father, Marna and Calvin Korpela. Loving Mother to Marques C. Korpela (Miranda) and Brandon L. Korpela (Lorena). Cherished Grandmother to Layla, Kai, Jaida and Mia. Dearest sister to Nancy (Ray) Swann, Cal, Rick (Debby), and Marna (Glenn) Goodearle. Further survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Debbie lived her life to love and hold her family tight. The move to Texas was a great move to let her do exactly that. She was an excellent cook and party planner for family get-togethers which brought her great joy and everyone who was lucky to be there. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, and will forever be in our hearts. Amen.

Debbie’s Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 30th , at South Shore Pavilion in Milwaukee. Gathering will begin at 6pm.

Cards and well wishes can be sent to: 2009 National Park Blvd, Austin, TX 78747
