With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Debra Giles, who moved on to her celestial journey on December 15, 2025. Born on November 16, 1956, Debra lived a life filled with love, courage, and unwavering honesty.

Debra is survived by her sons, Shawn and Robert Sexton, daughter-in-law Emily Sexton, cherished grandsons Seth Lacoste and Steven Luce, and beloved granddaughters Jessica Sexton and Brittany Huff. Debra also leaves behind her brother Bruce Sexton, dear brother Dale Sexton, loving sister Darlene Kujawa, and devoted sister-in-law Glenda Giles. Each of them was a significant part of her life, offering her strength and companionship on her journey.

Debra was an active attendee at AA, valuing the friendships and support within this community. Beyond her commitment to AA, she found joy in small pleasures of life; she was passionate about dog rescue, and helping others on their path to drug and alcohol rehabilitation. She was an ardent fan of the TV show, Survivor. She had a soft spot for casinos, finding amusement and thrill in games of chance. She sought adventure and relaxation on cruises, one of her favorite vacation spots.

Anyone who knew Debra could affirm that she had no problem telling anyone how she really felt. Her forthrightness, coupled with her kindness and understanding, made her a unique person whose presence was palpable. Debra strongly believed in generosity and acceptance, and she shared these lessons with those around her, enriching their lives.

Debra's passing leaves a void in the lives of everyone she touched. Her memory will live long in their hearts, sustaining them with the love, strength, and honesty that characterized her life. As we remember Debra, we honor her vibrant life and the remarkable woman she was.
