It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Debra Marie Gilbert-Evans, who left us peacefully on Jan 5, 2026. Born on Nov 10, 1950, Debra was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and woman of faith who touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion.

Debra was preceded in death by the father of her children, Gary Joe Casaray.  She is survived by her four children Joseph (Victoria) Casaray of Hayward, California; Anthony Casaray of Hayward, California; Donavon (Michelle) Casaray of Oakley, California; and Christina (Vasile Dragos) Leon of Florence, Arizona.

She was the proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

Debra was also survived by her sisters, Carolyn Pugh of Wilburton, Oklahoma and Ruth Richardson of Claremore, Oklahoma as well as many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory always.

Debra will be remembered for the deep love she had for her family and everyone around her and especially for her strong faith and love for God.  Her warmth, strength and devotion to her family will never be forgotten.  Debra's memory will continue to be a beacon of love and strength for her family. She will be dearly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known her and shared in her life.

In honor of Debra, the family asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. They draw strength from Debra's unwavering love and spirit. The memories of her life and the love she shared will forever be a testament of Debra's beautiful soul.
