Debbie DeLuca, 53, beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on August 27, 2025, after years of courageously battling acute and chronic illnesses. A Life Lived Fiercely
Debbie embraced life fully and unapologetically, finding joy in every moment she could. Some of her happiest times were spent gathered with friends, sharing laughter and stories at the bar, or taking sunny Sunday drives with Joe in their convertible Corvette, top down, music up, and worries left behind.
Each Fourth of July, Debbie and Joe celebrated their wedding anniversary at a dear friends’ legendary annual cookout, complete with a professional fireworks display — a cherished tradition overflowing with laughter and lifelong memories. Debbie also found peace and happiness on canoe and camping trips or summer days spent by the lake, soaking in the beauty of nature.

An Unbreakable Love
Debbie and Joe were true soulmates. From the moment they met, they were inseparable, sharing 28 years of marriage built on deep love, laughter, legendary yet comical arguments, and above all, 100% devotion. Their connection was effortless and constant — always talking and always together in heart and spirit, no matter where they were. Joe was not only Debbie’s husband but also her greatest champion, her safe place, and her very best friend.

A Gift for Connection
A committed hair stylist, Debbie turned her work-from-home salon into something much more than a job — it was a haven where her clients became lifelong friends. But her gift for connection went far beyond her salon. Whether she was chatting with someone at the bar or striking up a conversation with a complete stranger, Debbie had a natural way of drawing people in. Her quick wit and sharp sense of humor often broke the ice instantly, and before long, acquaintances became friends. Debbie could make anyone laugh, and that was one of the many reasons people loved being around her.

A Fighter and an Inspiration
Above all else, Debbie was a fighter. Despite countless health struggles, she never lost her determination to live, nor did she ever lose her ability to find humor, even in the hardest moments. Her strength and resilience were extraordinary, matched only by her love for her family, friends, and everyone lucky enough to know her.

Debbie is survived by her devoted husband and best friend, Joe DeLuca, and their beloved dog, Jazzy, who brought her endless joy and companionship. She leaves behind a loving and supportive family, including her step-son, Tony DeLuca; step-daughter, Ashely DeMasi and husband, Greg DeMasi; and step-grandchildren, Vinnie and Enzo DeMasi; her mother, Linda Sole, and her stepfather, James Sole; her father, Gary Pruitt, and his partner, Denah Gunya; and her sister, Dr. Dana McGlothlin and wife, Dr. Cherilyn Elwell.
Debbie’s circle of love extends far beyond family — to countless friends and clients who became family over the years. Her vibrant spirit, infectious laugh, and boundless love will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew her. Though she is no longer physically with us, her strength, humor, and affection will continue to inspire everyone whose life she touched.
