It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Debra "Debbie" Cottrell-Pistole, who left us peacefully on May 11, 2023. Born on April 12, 1956, Debbie was a loving and caring woman who touched the lives of those around her with her quiet and shy nature. Though she was also known as Debra, she preferred to be called Debbie.

Debra was predeceased by her mother, Ruth McGinn; her father, Paul F. Pistole; her sister, Sandy Eastham; and her brother, Fred Pistole. She is survived by her daughter, Brittany Pistole(Andrew Phillips); her grandson, Legend Phillips; her brother, David Pistole; her sister, Connie Journey; her niece, Jennifer Pistole; and her niece, Jodie Pistole.

Throughout her life, Debra embodied a spirit of kindness and giving, always willing to extend a hand to those in need. Her gentle demeanor and consistent belief in the power of kindness left a lasting impact on those who knew her, and her legacy will live on through the lessons she shared. One of Debra's most significant accomplishments was the immense joy she experienced in meeting her beloved grandson, who held a special place in her heart.

Debra's memory will be forever cherished by her daughter, grandson, family, and friends, who will miss her deeply. In honoring her life, we remember the kindness, love, and gentle spirit that she brought to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
