Debra's obituary

Debra Jean Campiche, or Debbie, as she was known to all, a lifelong resident, peacefully passed away on Thursday afternoon, September 19, 2019 at Cedar Crest Manor Nursing Home, in Lawton. She was 68 years old. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th at 1:00 p.m. at Patterson Avenue Baptist Church, with Bro. Trent Young officiating, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home. Viewing will begin Monday morning, and the family will be receiving friends Monday evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Debbie was born August 18, 1951 in Comanche, to Nathaniel John and Rutha Jean (Beatty) Cornelius. After graduating from Duncan High School in 1969, she later married Bill Campiche. Debbie was a faithful member of Patterson Avenue Baptist Church. She loved reading, watching soap operas, including her favorite, “The Young And The Restless”. Debbie loved drinking an iced cold Diet Coke. She had a special place in her heart for all dogs and cats.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Kane and husband Jamie, Lawton; her mother in law, Mary Campiche, Comanche; a brother in law, Ronnie Campiche, Waurika; and a sister in law, Harriet Campiche, Houston, TX; her “sister at heart” Mary Kane, Lawton; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her husband Bill; her parents; and two brothers: Joe Cornelius and Larry Cornelius.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the loving and dedicated staff at Cedar Crest Nursing Home for all they did for Debbie. She loved them dearly.
