Debra's obituary
If you knew her, you probably called her “Debo,” as she was a loving and loyal friend to so many.
Debra was born on October 31, 1955, in Tupelo, Mississippi, to Joseph Holcomb and Doris Croft. She was the eldest of five children, with three sisters and two brothers.
She was married to Donald for twenty years, and together they raised a family in Northeast Mississippi.
In her professional life, many knew her as “Nurse Debbie.” She had a meaningful and accomplished career in healthcare, working in Surgery, Intensive Care, Mental Health, and serving as both a leader and educator.
Debra loved Jesus. She loved her family. She loved her many friends.
She is survived by two sons, Marshal and Kenneth; her daughters-in-law, Jennifer and Shauna; her grandchildren, Gabriel and Everly; her brother, Joey; and her sisters, Lee and Tabby; and her stepmother, Lorene.
She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Dinah; her brother, Dale; and their mother and father, Doris and Joseph; and her stepfather Linton.
The memorial service will be private, but your prayers are sincerely appreciated.
In closing, Debra faced eternity boldly. She was ready to go be with her Savior, and would not want anyone reading this to miss heaven.
