Debra “Debbie” Briggs (Lord)

Debra “Debbie” Briggs, 60, passed away peacefully in Texas on August 26, 2025. She was born on March 30, 1965, in Redding, California.

The youngest of eleven children, Debbie was blessed with a large and loving family. She now joins her parents, two brothers, and three sisters in heaven.

She is survived by her daughters: Brianna Carel of Texas and her husband Doug, along with their children Amelia, Myles, and Libby; Nicole Deaver of Oregon and her husband Colton, who are expecting their first child; and Meagan Briggs of British Columbia. Debbie also leaves behind many siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Debbie had a free spirit and a heart full of joy. She loved being “Gigi” to her grandchildren, crafting, hunting for the best deal while shopping, baking treats for those she loved, and a good basketball game. Above all, she was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.

As an adventure seeker, Debbie found joy in new experiences. To honor her spirit, her children have chosen to carry a piece of her with them wherever they go, bringing her along to the places that bring them happiness and adventure.

Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is no longer weighed down by the pain of this world and is now at peace. Debbie’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, and she will forever be remembered for her unforgettable laugh.
