Debra was born on June 27, 1956 to Mary and Eugene Fletcher Sr. in Chicago, Illinois. Debra departed this world suddenly in her sleep on July 10, 2018.
Debra graduated from Hillwood High School, Nashville, Tennessee in 1974.
Debra graduated from Tennessee State University with a nursing degree. Debra is survived by a husband, Quindell Akins of Stone Mountain, Georgia. Her mother, Mary Tibbs Fletcher of Huntsville, Alabama. Debra was predeceased by her father, Eugene Fletcher Sr. and two daughters, Angela and Rickenya. Siblings left behind: Dr. Eugene Fletcher II (Terina) of Scottsdale, Arizona and Dr. Eugenia (Tina) Fletcher-Stafford (Andre') of Atlanta, Georgia; and Dorthy Nems (Lee) of Alabama.
Debra leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, neighbors and friends.
