Debra's obituary

Debra Ann Johnson, passed away on March 12, 2023 at St. Lukes hospital in Duluth Mn. She was 70 years old. We are all so deeply saddened by the loss of our mother, sister and friend. Debra was born on May 17th 1952.

She is survived by her 3 children Jodi Gelineau, Mark(Amanda) Johnson and Kevin Johnson, her grand children Carly Gelineau and Jacob Gelineau, Oliver Johnson and Emilia Johnson and her sister Diane(Scott) Brousseau and all of her many friends and coworkers and her furry kids Baby Boy and Chips. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Debra is predeceased by her parents Cliff and Ruth Jemming and her brothers Patrick and Kevin.

Debra was such a kind, caring and giving person with an awesome sense of humor and adventurous soul. Quick with a laugh and even quicker with a hug. She was such a giver of herself. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity.

In her life she wore many hats, was a waitress for many years and recently retired from her pharmacy tech job at Walgreens in West Duluth. Her strong work ethic wasn't lost on her children. Work hard, play hard and enjoy life.

Debra didn't want a funeral but told us it was ok to have a celebration of her life. We will be having this June 24th at the Moose Lodge in Proctor 12-4pm. Come celebrate the life of an awesome woman, share stories, laughs and friendship.

Mom, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. Your kids will be ok and we know that was very important to you. We have each other and will always stay close. We will continue to honor you and never forget the sacrifices you made to keep us together, healthy, happy and strong. And mom, WE LOVE YOU MORE! Until we meet again.
