I miss her smile!!!

I miss her smile!!! — with Karl Weaver and Debbie Vahle

Ah, I lost track of your mom several years ago. I knew her before she started working in the construction business, we shared living in a log cabin and the the house she bought in Pasadena, when she met your father Bret. She was a strong kind woman possessing many talents, shared her knowledge gracefully and cared deeply about her convictions. We would occasionally talk on the phone and she would catch me up on the progress of you all as children.  You were always the sun and moon and stars to her, she loved you fiercely, was proud of each of you. We lost track of one another shortly after your father passed. The world will have a little less light with her passing. My condolences.

Your mom and one of the boys came over to my house after Mark died in 2008 and did tons of yard work. It was from her example of hard work, and "can do" service that showed me that I too could do heavy brush clearing yard work!  I still remember her on Sunday mornings coming to church early to clean the restrooms before we hired a cleaning service!  Her big bright eyes, determined faith, and "getterdone" optimism gave me a view of God I'd not seen before.

So sorry you have lost her!

Rest In Peace MaMa V!

You were such a good women that I know. always hardworking women and lovely, pets & garden flowers love and always help people around you.so sad so soon. We will missed you!! Remember you with love.

Debbie was my sister-in-Christ and one of my best friends. I looked up to her and admired her because of the way she learned how to do just about everything. She used that knowledge to serve people and animals around her. Debbie prayed to discern how God could use her. She amazed me because she would always quietly do these heroic acts of service without any fanfare or attention. She rolled her sleeves up and regularly did the difficult things most people couldn’t do. She was the one you needed in your corner when life was tough. She prayed hard when there was nothing humanly possible to do. She celebrated when life was good. Debbie, I miss you now and I’ll miss you until I join you again in Heaven.
