Debbie's obituary

Deborah L. Johnson (Debbie)

Born Jan 9, 1958, in New Haven, CT. She lost her battle with cancer on 19 December 2022. She was married to the late Lonnie Wynne Sr of Edenton, NC.

Debbie was a devoted mother to her 2 children. She dedicated her life to taking care of her daughter Felicia A. Wynne who was born with Cerebral Palsy. She was a proud Navy mom, as her son recently retired from the United States Navy.

Debbie was a passionate middle school volunteer who won the respect and admiration of the teachers and staff. Through all the ups and downs in her life she always stayed positive and smiled during the most difficult times. She is remembered for always willing to help others in need in any way she could.

She is survived by her parents Charles and Caroline Johnson. Sisters; Cheryl Kreske, and Donnamarie Johnson. Brother; Christopher Johnson. Son; Lonnie Wynne Jr USN Ret, daughter; Felicia A. Wynne and daughter-in-law; Elizabeth Wynne. Grandchildren; Delantae Wills, Felicia E. Wynne, and Justin Wynne.
