Deborah's obituary

Deborah Goodman, a remarkable and inspiring woman, passed away at the age of 70 on February 19, 2024 following an extended battle with dementia. Born on March 24, 1953, Deborah led a life of kindness, compassion, unwavering support, and encouragement. Her spirit and strength were admired and will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends.

Deborah will always be remembered by her loving husband, Jack Goodman, her daughter, Lisa Epps (Jeff), as well as her step-children, James Burnette (Kristina) and April White (Gary). Her legacy will live on through her beloved grandchildren Austin Epps (Katherine) Emma Epps and Sarah Rodgers (Zach); Jesse and Natalee Burnette; Skylar, Sierra, and Brandi Large, as well as her cherished great grandsons Wyatt Epps and Marshall and Charlie Rodgers. Her spirit will also be cherished by her siblings, Patricia Sutton (Larry) and Ronnie Moore (Diane).

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Mary Moore but their memories and love remained a beacon of comfort and inspiration in Deborah’s life.

Deborah was a paragon of unwavering strength, warmth, and dedication. Her work ethic was a guiding light to all who knew her, and her caring nature was a source of comfort. Her supportive demeanor fostered growth and confidence in those lucky enough to call her family or friend.

Deborah's passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit and love remain with us, comfort us, and remind us to live life to the fullest and not take one day for granted. We remember Deborah not with sorrow, but with gratitude for her enriching presence in our lives.

We will always carry her memory in our hearts. Rest in peace, Deborah, knowing you are loved immensely and will forever be missed.
