Deborah Christine Caruso, 68, of NC/GA/NJ/NY (she would say well I live in NC, but I am in GA a lot and well I'm from NY/NJ - depending on who she was talking to) , passed away Monday 2/7/22 suddenly and had been battling the heart ache of losing her son, best friend and many other loved ones in the past year. The exact cause is still unknown, but the stress she endured was a contributing factor.  Deborah, Deb, Mama C was born on September 4, 1953 to Violet Christine Cronin. After graduating from New Dorp HS, she went on to work for a Japanese financial institute in Manhattan (she shared many funny stories about this time of her life).   In the 70s, she met Michael Caruso, and they got married, going on to have 2 children, Jeremy and Michele along with taking a role as a stepmom to Michael's 2 other young children. After she had kids, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Deborah excelled at propping up family & friends and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives.  When she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her kitchen cooking up some big Italian meals, Thanksgiving dinners and many other recipes everyone has grown to love over the years . She also assisted with Mike's Radiator shop, Pizzeria, owned and operated an Italian restaurant and was an expert in the spa/patio furniture world. We will miss her greatly. Deborah was predeceased by her grandmother Violet, mother Violet, her brothers Ski and Robert and her son Jeremy. She is survived by her husband Michael, daughter Michele, son-in-law Blair, stepson Michael, daughter-in-law Gina and 6 grandkids Brandon, Jordan, Jameson, Nicholas, Lily and Teddy.

The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to 1609 Hickory Woods Way, Marietta, GA. Events are tbd. If you would like to hold off on flowers until details are confirmed and would like to send to the locations that would be a nice gesture too.
