Deborah's obituary
Deborah Carol Davis, age 68 passed away on December 16, 2024 at OU Medical Center, Oklahoma City.
Born on July 26, 1956 in Coral Gables, Florida, Deborah was the second of four children born to Lawrence and Delphine Knepp. She grew up in Pleasant Gap, Pennsylvania and graduated from Bellefonte High School.
Deborah married Gary L. Robinson of Pleasant Gap and had two children to this marriage. She worked as one of few female workers at the Cerro Metal Products Plant in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania.
After divorcing, Deborah and her two children moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma. Shortly after moving, she married her second husband Floyd L. Davis. Here she raised her two children. Deborah attended Rose State College and used her degree as a draftsman for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation until medical complications forced her into early retirement. Deborah and family relocated to Yukon, Oklahoma in the Spring of 1989.
Deborah’s life was rooted in her faith, the lives of her children, and grandchildren. Deborah served faithfully in her church callings and relied heavily upon her faith to navigate her complex medical conditions.
Deborah enjoyed making jewelry and reading crime fiction novels. She had a green thumb and loved the ocean. She went on cruises often with her beloved husband of 40 years until his passing. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Delphine Knepp, her brother Thomas Knepp, her husband Floyd L. Davis, and her great-grandson Roman A. Gordon.
She is survived by her children, Shawnee Poling and husband Perry and Gary S.L. Robinson and wife Elizabeth; three grandsons Devin Gordon and wife Annalee, Andrew Poling, and Dylan Robinson; a great-grandson Xavier Gordon; her siblings Diane Readling and husband Von and Richard Knepp and wife Georgina; many nieces/nephews and great-nieces/nephews.
A celebration of life and graveside service will be held at a later date in 2025 in Pennsylvania.
