It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Debera Lambert, born on March 9, 1958, who left us on October 20, 2023. Debera's joyous spirit and infectious laughter will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Melissa Meadows and Barbara Burdette. Debera's sister, Kathy Taylor, also remains to cherish her memory. Her radiant warmth will continue to shine through her grandsons, Aaron Burdette, Ethan Spence, Kevin Mills, and as well as her granddaughters, Tasha Burdette and great-grandson Micah Burdette. Debera was predeceased by her mother, Annabell Lambert, and her father, William Lambert.

Debera found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether it was enjoying her favorite foods like French fries and macaroni & cheese or savoring a cold Coke or sweet tea, she found happiness in every moment. Her love for Bruno Mars' music could light up a room, while her fondness for TV shows like Manifest, Suits, and Grey's Anatomy kept her evenings filled with excitement. Debera's laughter was a testament to her radiant personality and served as a recreational activity in its own right. Her preferred way to keep active was through walking, often marveling at the beauty of the world around her.

Debera was drawn to the thrilling rides and enchanting attractions of Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens, her treasured vacation spots. She had a particular fondness for the color purple, which, like her personality, was vibrant and full of life. The lessons she imparted to those around her were equally colorful - Debera believed in the power of perseverance and echoed the sentiment of never giving up.

In Debera’s passing, we mourn not only the loss of a remarkable woman but also the absence of a laughter that could brighten even the darkest of rooms. She was a beacon of joy and resilience and will be greatly missed by her family.
