Mother, daughter, friend, and loved one, Debbie Powell passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 17th, 2021.

Debbie was an amazingly kind & genuine soul. She would give anything to help any of her loved ones. Debbie had a heart for animals and planned on running a rescue for seniors and disabled pets in her retirement. She was a woman who loved her children and family more than the world. She was loved by more than she knew.

Debbie is survived by her mother, Wadina Cope, her sister, Dina Ortega, and her brother David Powell. She is also survived by her children: Ashley Quinn, Caitlin Steffensen, Skylar Steffensen, Joshua Quinn, and her granddaughter, Faith Quinn. She is additionally survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Debbie is preceded in death by her father, Ross Powell and step-father, Sam Cope.

A memorial service will be held for family and close friends at Grand Avenue Baptist Church (Fort Smith, Arkansas) on Wednesday, July 28th, 2021 at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, Debbie’s daughters are asking that any memorial donations be made in Debbie’s name to her favorite pet sanctuary- House with a Heart Senior Pet Sanctuary at housewithaheart.com.
