Debbie's obituary

Deborah Ann Persi beloved daughter, sister, Aunt and friend passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 1, 2025, at the age of 65.  She was born on December 20, 1959, in Upland, California.  Debbie spent more than 25 years working in retail management and customer service, where she was known for her dedication, reliability, and compassion towards both co-workers and customers.  Over the years, she held positions in grocery stores, convenience stores, and even worked at locations that provided on site services for cell towers.  No matter the setting, Debbie's professionalism and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.  In November 2004, Debbie was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis, the challenge she faced with courage, grace, and unwavering optimism for more than two decades.  Despite the hardships of her illness, she remained positive, grateful, and deeply appreciative of those who cared for her and shared in her journey.  Her warmth, humor, and loving nature brightened the lives of all who knew her.  Those who knew her will always remember her for her generosity and putting others needs before her own.  Debbie will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the compassion she extended to everyone in her presence.  Her legacy is one of perseverance, generosity and love.  Debbie was an animal lover of all kinds, but she had a special affection for horses and dogs.  Her compassion extended to every creature she encountered, and she found great comfort and joy in their companionship throughout her life.  She is survived by her loving sister Pam Harman (Dennis); her nieces and nephews; grand nieces and nephews and her long time best friend and devoted caretaker, Leslie Camp, who was like a sister to her.  Debbie's family will forever treasure the love, laughter and kindness Debbie shared freely.  She has now joined her departed parents and brother as well as other departed loved ones in a very happy reunion.  Debbie's funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church 877 N. Campus Ave., Upland, California 91786 Friday 11-21-25 at 11:00 AM.
