DEBBIE's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of DEBBIE "MS.QUEEN" MUSKELLY, also affectionately known as MS.QUEEN. DEBBIE was born on February 17, 1975, and peacefully departed this world on January 15, 2026.
DEBBIE leaves behind a loving family; daughters Shakira, HALLIUJAH, QUEEN, and LOYALTY Muskelly, her son KNOWLEDGE YARABOUGH, her grandchildren RIZCHIER Muskelly, Curtshun Thomas JR, MAKIH, and CODY YARABOUGH, and BABY IZZY, and her son-in-law, Curtshun Thomas. And daughter Blessings She was predeceased by her son, YOQUOBIE YARABOUGH.
DEBBIE lived a rich and vibrant life, filled with love for her favorite foods and drinks, such as OXTAILS and 211 PINEAPPLE. She found joy in the music of LAURYN HILL, ANTHONY HAMILTON, and TANK, and she was a fan of TV shows such as LAW IN ORDER. She appreciated AFRICAN ART, cheered for the DALLAS COWBOYS, enjoyed playing CASINO, and found happiness in recreational activities such as traveling, singing, and cooking. DEBBIE found comfort in her favorite color, PURPLE, and warmth in her favorite vacation spot, MIAMI.
In a testament to her kind and caring nature, DEBBIE was deeply committed to children's causes. She was best characterized as being straightforward, kind, clever, and having a profound knowledge of self. The life lessons she shared with those she met were powerful - TO BE STRONG, BUILD SOMETHING OF YOUR OWN, BE A LEADER, and STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF.
Her accomplishments were many; she was recognized in the paper for revitalizing a rundown park for local children. In 2020, she opened an online restaurant D&K SOUL, which caught the attention of USHER and his mother, who became fans of her food. Her legacy is one of kindness, staying true to oneself, living life on one's own terms, and being a beacon of light.
The world was indeed lucky to have known her - a most authentic soul, a teacher to the masses, a beloved mother and grandmother. She was, and continues to be, easy to love.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established in her name for the "Children's Defense Fund", at https://everloved.com/life-of….
We invite you to share your memories, express condolences, or light a candle in honor of DEBBIE.
