Taylor & Samantha lived in the house behind mine, growing up. She was a huge part of my childhood. She gave me my first taste of a Frappuccino. She taught me how to do a flip on the trampoline. She showed me how to taste honeysuckles and bury a time capsule. We spent our days barefoot with dirty feet, running all around the neighborhood. She’d tell me ghost stories and try to convince me birds made messages for her in the sky lol! We’d explore abandoned houses and make friendship bracelets, have tea parties and share life, together. As we got older she helped me discover and create an email for the first time and introduced me to MySpace. She was my very best friend and I don’t know where I would be without her as the foundation to my childhood. I am sad we didn’t stay connected once we grew up. I am forever grateful to her and will carry her memories in my heart forever. I will teach my own babies things that I only knew, because of her. My heart and prayers are with all of you. Thank you for letting her play with me, it changed my life.
Taylor, I only got the pleasure of meeting you and forrest once at your families cook out. You had such a positive spirit given everything you were going through. My husband and I have worked closely with your sister Sammy for almost 4 years and have followed your journey and lifted you and your family up in our prayers many times. You and Forrest and family  are all Sammy ever thought and talked about. We continue to pray for your family's comfort and peace during this time and celebrate that you are officially pain free and dancing with the angels. Your legacy will live on through Forrest and all those whose lives you've touched. May you rest in the arms of the Lord.
I am so sorry your loss, Taylor was a great and giving young lady, she will be sadly missed 😥

I'm so sorry, Tracy! My heart breaks for all of you! Taylor was truly a special person, I always enjoyed catching up with her when she worked at the vet.

Praying for peace and comfort in the days to come.

With Love, Katie Johnson Grissett
