Kay's obituary
Our Loving mother, Deanna "Kay" Stagner, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 19th in her home after a long battle with extensive suffering. Kay was 81 and was surrounded by her children when she passed.
**Kay, was born in Oklahoma where she resided with her loving parents ( Claude Theodore Pitts & Helen Ruth Pitts) on September 08, 1941. ( Yes she was an Okie but we loved her anyway LOL)
Kay knew and loved her Lord & Savior. Her family will remember her as a VERY proud, strong and independent Woman. Although she was quiet and reserved she didn't take crap from anyone she would sit back and bite her tongue until she had enough and then boy oh boy you better watch it. She loved her family and they loved her. She loved to dance, gamble, crochet, smoke and drink her coffee, ( in her younger years she loved her margaritas). She hardly ever missed her game shows ( price is right, lets make a deal and wheel of fortune ). Her favorite saying to us kids was ( don't give me no shit ). When music was playing you would get to see some of her spunk if it was an upbeat song, she liked the older country music as well as the gospel hymns. Old Rugged Cross was her favorite hymn.
Now that Kay has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves while this is the end of Kay’s physical life on Earth, it’s the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her.
Kay joins her Father Claude Theodore Pitts, her Mother Helen Ruth Pitts and 2 grandkids in Heaven. She is survived by many loving family members, including her 4 children Rebecca Sue Barnes, Debra Kay Pierce, Claude Darren Heimlich, Jo Anna Kay (Bradley) Scott , 8 grandkids and 22 greatgrands.
Your WINGS were ready;
but our HEARTS were not.
