Deanna Turvaville Moyer, 34, of Rantoul, Illinois, passed away in the early morning of November 24, 2024, after her body was taken by the harsh treatments meant to keep her alive through leukemia.

Born on October 1, 1990, Deanna was a radiant, tender soul—creative, loyal, and full of quiet strength. She loved deeply, cared fiercely, and lived with meaning. She was a lifelong cat mom, an artist of presence, and a light to all who knew her.

She is survived by her partner and best friend of nearly 16 years, Topher. She also leaves behind an estranged older brother David Turvaville, sister-in-law Tracie, nieces Vicky and Liz, a grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, chosen family, and a chosen child named Oakley. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Cyndi and Glen Turvaville.

D’s spirit lives on in the love she gave, the lives she changed, and the beauty she carried through this world.
