I worked with Deanna at the State of Wyoming Workforce Center. She was our receptionist. What a "gem"! She loved the garden produce I brought her from my husband's garden in Cody, especially the radishes. One day I came to work and she had made me a new nameplate for my desk. Instead of Jacque, it read Jack! She was fun to work with and be around. Sometimes, a couple of gals and I took her gambling at the casino in Riverton. Win or lose we had fun. When Ray and Deanna lived in a cabin at Old Trail Town in Cody, Ray said to my husband and myself: "Come on down and I will show you around town." I even have a lariat basket that Ray made out of rope. Deanna was kind, loving, genuine, and full of fun and laughter. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, especially me. - Jacque Stouffer

Deanna will be so missed. She always had coffee ready. When mom, dad and I came back from Billings, we had to come back the Cody way, so we could visit Ray and Deann. Then when they moved to Greybull, we had to go the Worland way, so we could stop and visit. I loved listening to the stories and the laughter.
The unsung life story of the yesteryear cowboy wife needs to be told at family gatherings, so we do not forget the LOVE and hard work it took to get us here today.
Mom and I are thinking of you all. Your mom was a joy to be around .

Getting to know your mom before she moved with you was a highlight of my life. She meant so very much to me and listening to her stories will be with me forever. My favorite was when she told me she sent the dog with messages to your dad when he was out with cattle. She was so speedy with her walker and so spunky. I cherish the time we spent together. My prayers are with you and your family. Sending love

I remember the first time I meant Diana........young kid from Idaho! Eric told me to go get Ray at the Ranch house. We were getting ready to punch cows over the divide!
She was so nice.....invited me in for a cold coffee. Ate a biscuit....homemade.....and she sent me on my way! A woman i will for ever miss!

To the Hammond family my most sincere condolences for your loss. My Aunt deanna will be remembered for the wonderful woman she was. I’m so proud my Dad named me after her. Even though we did not grow up near each other I always felt we grew up with you all. My father would share all his wonderful stories of his baby sister and her family that I always felt I knew you. I feel your pain for her loss, but what a privilege you had in knowing her and loving her. Love all of you

While we didn’t know her for a long time, her warm smile and amazing demeanor was always wonderful to see.
The stories y’all told about her were always great and seeing her be mischievous was hilarious!
According to Ray, SHE raised amazing children and she was so lucky to have y’all take such wonderful care of her!
It was a pleasure to know her and we wish you all peace and comfort during this very difficult time.
