Deanna's obituary
Deanna Blann Zamora, 52, of Kent, WA, passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2022 after a brief illness.
Deanna was predeceased by her mom Barbara Dollarhide Amick and her dad Donald Leroy Blann. Her dog Skittles passed away a few years ago and was no doubt there waiting for her at the rainbow bridge. She is survived by her biggest love in life - her son Travis Jorgensen, her sister Donna Blann Jamison, her brother Chad Amick (Monica), nephews Chris and Charlie, nieces Kimi, Alexia, and Allison, 4 great nephews and 1 great niece, her Aunt Wanda, Aunt Roz, and Uncle Tony, several cousins, her step dad Bob Amick, and many, many close friends.
Deanna was a graduate of Evergreen High School in White Center, class of 1988, and was a very proud Wolverine. Everyone who knew Deanna considered her a friend. She had such a kind and loving heart you couldn't help but love her. She had a way of making everyone feel like they were her best friend. She was known for her beautiful singing voice and loved singing songs by her favorite singer Ann Wilson of Heart. She had a joyful spirit, sweet disposition, and generous heart and loved helping anyone in need. You could always count on laughing when you were around her because she truly was one of the funniest people and took so much joy in making people laugh. She always had a dream of becoming a stand up comedian, and she definitely could have been one. The world is a darker place without her but she wouldn't want us to be sad, she would want us to keep laughing. She would want us all to be there for each other and not take each other for granted. We can honor her memory best by being kind and helpful to all people and animals. You never know what anyone else is going through, so just be kind to everyone.
