I got to know Dean for a short time while I worked with him. I remember his smile always even on rough or busy days he always had a joke and I was always delighted when he would laugh. I even recently found out about his presidency of the Reno Mineral and Rock Group. He was a great leader and a warm kind heart. My sincere and deepest condolences.

My deepest condolences to you and your family, Denise. Dean's committment to the RGMS is unmatched in my opinion. I didn't know him well, just through RGMS on occasion, but he was such a force for good and the Society has benefited greatly from his direction and stewardship. Thank you, Dean for all you did to not only make the RGMS a better place, but the world as a whole.
