Background
Dean Morgan tragically took his own life on April 5, 2020. He was 42 years old and battled with depression and anxiety for most of his life. The added stress of the COVID-19 pandemic was too much for him to handle. Dean is survived by his sister, Lori Flanagan; brother-in-law, John Flanagan; niece, Kylie Flanagan; half-brother, Jimmy Johnson and Jimmy’s wife, Ann Johnson. Unfortunately, Dean’s family is not prepared to pay for funeral expenses at this time.
Growing up, Dean and Lori lived through their father’s suicide in 1984 and their mother’s ten-year battle with breast cancer, which ended sadly in 2004. Lori is devastated by this loss and will forever miss her little brother who could always make her laugh. His charm and smile would brighten any room.
We are raising money to assist with the costs of cremation and a “green” memorial service through Better Place Forests. The California Coastal Redwood Forest was a place where Dean’s family would go when he was young. We feel this is a beautiful final resting place which will bring Dean peace.
