Sam- my heart is shattered! This is my first Sunday that I am unable to discuss all the football games with you on the phone! I met you 34 years ago. I’ll miss meeting you at Chicago’s for dinner on the fly. You always corrected my thoughts and texts. Who’s gonna do that now?  I will still miss you as you told me you were the best “wordsmith”! Now who’s going to do that for me? Thanks for all the shows we went to. Bruno Mars, Kevin Nealon, and our last show seeing Randy Rainbow. Does any else know who that is? We had a wonderful time! Dinner and a show. You shelled out a lot of money for that! Now who’s gonna do shows with me with our dark sense of humor? We loved talking politics! I still need you for that! My life will have a huge hole now! I’ll miss more than I can ever say! You were a best friend to me! I’LL LOVE AND MISS YOU FOREVER!! Rest In Peace my dear friend! Now I’m crying again. Not sure when that will stop! Please say hi to my mom, dad, and Sabie!💔🥰

Sorry abut the spelling. You wouldn't expect anything less.

DEANS GONE !! WOW,  Where are you friend? I still need you!  He never said no when you needed a hand or just his company. Not until the end when he said " I can't" .  GOD broke the mold as soon as he created him. ,

Life is like a big puzzle, you never know when your going to lose the next piece. Yours was a big piece which left a big hole in my heart. It's going to take a long time to fill it.

Your memory will always be with me .

THIS TEARS FOR YOU , GOOG BUDDY

YOUR FRIEND ALWAYS,

SCHMITTY

Sam did the crab races at Patty boots when I met him, we became friends instantly.  Hammer drov the 49 Ford in the st Patty's parade for 3 years for Ultra Legs Lingerie Co. He loved having all the ladies around him..   Sam would show for ever fashion show, every birthday party. I ALWAYS LOOKED FORWORD TO MY BDAY  AND HIM SINGING TO ME..
Sam was a regular member of our Barbershop chorus during the last few years.  He usually stood next to me in the Bass section, sang on our shows, and even joined us for regional competitions with other choruses.  We'll miss his booming voice, smiling face, and all-around nice guy ... Always a gentleman!  Rest in peace Sam ...

My memories are all of our childhood.  I always thought you were a great looking guy but you were younger than me and my brothers friend. My wish for you now is that you are at peace and with your mom and dad now.

Dean-AKA “Sam”

You said I was a good 1st mate. I hope I served under your name as well as a good 1st mate could. Only the historians will have the final say. I’ll do my best to keep your memory alive. “Sam,” So many people loved you. It shouldn’t be a problem- that I can promise.

May the Lord find you and keep you. I pray you are at peace my friend. It kills me to put these words to paper. But I’m not taking your death well. Promise me we get to laugh at the end of all of this and it wasn’t for not-

I look forward to eternal jousting with my friend in the afterlife, no matter where we wind up!

Until then, keep sailing Sam!
