Dean Francis Nelson 68, of Saint Petersburg, Florida passed away on May 1, 2022.  Dean was born on February 7, 1954 in Winfield, Illinois to Robert and Maria/Dolly Nelson.

Dean is survived by 2 daughters; Andrea Maria Nelson-Guardado (Who he referred to as Honey Pie) and Tally (Chris) Nelson Ortega of Illinois.

And his one and only son Aaron (Carmen) Nelson of Illinois.

Dean loved all of his grandchildren; Aaron, Nayeli and Natalia Nelson and Noah and Rocco Ortega, all of Illinois.

Dean is survived by 2 brothers; Mike Nelson of North Carolina and Rob Nelson of Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; Maria/Dolly and Robert Nelson.

Dean shared a special bond with the mother's of his children, Rubi and Patty.

Dean was a proud veteran of the US Coast Guard 🇺🇸 

Dean loved playing guitar and visiting his home away from home in Costa Rica where he owned a hotel.

He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

At the request of the family, funeral services  will be private.
