Background
Caroll had no insurance, the business she worked for was sold leaving her between jobs when she diagnosed with cancer. I was working as a general contractor who was covered by VA disability but this did not cover my wife. Once she was diagnosed it was too late to get life insurance as they won't accept cancer patients. She fought for 5 years as we suffered financially due her never ending medical appointment with radiation, chemotherapy, pain management, operations, constant ER visits, etc. I took her to every doctor's appointment, every ER visit, operations, etc. All this was very had on us financially as I could not work during this time, so I drained our bank accounts, sold our vehicles, put our mortgage on forbearance to delay payments, maxed out our CC, sold all my investments. Now I am working but still owe a year worth of payments to pay off the loan I had to get to keep our home. I also had to do a debt consolidation after maxing out the CC. I did everything I knew to be with her and support her during this heart wrenching experience. My wife was my everything and the best mother to our children and grandchildren. She will be forever remembered, she is now reunited with her mother who also died at the young age of 50. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
