Dawn Lawrence-Smith age 53, of Warren, Michigan passed away suddenly on January 16, 2023.  She was born on August 12, 1969 to parents [Linda and the late Jimmie Lawrence]. Dawn was incredibly loving and left a legacy of  generosity and care to her family and friends. Dawn earned two degrees from OCC and later worked as an Adjunct Professor before retiring in 2003.  She enjoyed gardening and had a green thumb especially dealing with her roses. 

Dawn was outgoing, witty, caring and smart. Dawn had a natural gift of making others feel good and she surely lit up a room with her beautiful personality and smile. Dawn will be dearly missed and always remembered. 

She is survived by her husband, Gary Smith; fur baby, Kingston; parents, Linda and the late Jimmie Lawrence; brother, James (Pam) Lawrence; sister, Patricia (Richard) Hillaker; and several nieces and nephews.
