Dawn Cherie LaPointe passed away at age 56 on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Dawn was born in Dearborn, MI to Charles LaPointe and the late Dolores LaPointe (née Moroz). She was a devoted mother to her children, Ryan and Caitlyn. Dawn had achieved much in her life, from being an astute paralegal to a talented cook and baker. She was also passionate about animals and had rescued numerous. Before passing she was devoted to looking after her father. She is survived by her father, Charles LaPointe, her children Ryan and Caitlyn, sister Dana LaPointe-O’Sullivan, and nephews, Travis O’Sullivan (Kara), and Devon Herren.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that as of June 11, 2022 Dawn's father, Charles LaPointe has joined her. To honor their lives a memorial will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 3:00pm and gathering time for friends and family to begin at 1:00pm prior to the services located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home Taylor Chapel 9800 Telegraph Road, Taylor, MI 48180.
