Dawn embodied the true meaning of gentle kindness and love. As her brother in law, I had so many moments with her that made us laugh I couldn't even count them. I loved Dawn from the start and then my fortunate brother earned the the roll of being her man, her husband, and her best friend. I continue to envy the longevity and dedication they showed one another. Dawn always interjected positivity in a world of deceit, drudgery, and sadness. Her laugh was intense, heartfelt, contageous, and sincere. I still hear that more than any words I remember her saying. Even though she was younger than me she always called me "sweetie" in a nurturing almost motherly way. To say she cared about others would be an understatement. She cared about everyone especially my brother Dave. Thank you Dawn for spreading kindness and love to so many people. Your energy will rise eternally and shine on all of us now that the your body is free of the earthly challenges we are all bound by. Thank you for being here to make the world a better place. Thank you for watching over the hearts that ache today and for the many days to come. We will live on and smile and spread the kindness you so lovingly gave to others because you would insist on us doing that. I miss you so much. Jeff Vaccaro

We will miss Dawn's smiling face at all holidays and family gatherings. She was always eager to share a hung and he she wore a smile on her face, even when facing cancer head-on. It takes an incredibly brave and spiritual person to bring the gift of a smile and a positive attitude in the face of such an enormous challenge. She will now be at peace, watching over her family from heaven. Thank you for the chance to meet and know you and for your generous gifts, Dawn.
