Dawn Michele Gattis was born to Ellen Jane Schuff and John Seip, Sr. in Houston, Texas on December 5, 1966. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and Mimi. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, June 12, 2022.

Dawn was blessed with a loving family. She married Gary Gattis on May 22, 2004. Dawn loved working in the yard, spending time with her family, and always loved a good sale. She was an avid Neal McCoy fan and a founding member of his Facebook fan club.

Dawn is survived by her husband Gary; daughter Ashley Michele Brandon and husband Gregg; daughter Amber Dawn Dedear and fiance Houston Kelly; Step-son Justin Dedear and wife Lauren; Step-daughter Brenna Sanzo and husband Chris; Step-son Glenn Gattis and wife Katie; grandchildren Aiden Dedear, Ryker and Colt Kelly, Norma Dedear, Abigail Odom, McKenna and Garrett Brandon and Raelynn Gattis; parents John Seip, Sr. and wife Linda; brother David Seip and wife Linda; and numerous other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother Ellen Jane Schuff and husband Larry; grandmother Mary Ellen Dewberry and husband Martin, and sister Debbie Brumley.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on June 17th at the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas at 10:30 a.m. Flowers and condolences may be offered to the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
