I've never been part of the core Incline crowd, but anytime I would visit, Davis was the personification of hospitality, always making us feel welcome, as if we'd been lifelong friends.

Davis was my friend for 48 years. It all started when he was one of my students at Pontiac Catholic High School and it grew from there. He and Ann ( his LUV) quickly became an important part of my CHOSEN FAMILY and we shared so many memories together. They joined me for four days at Thanksgiving in Hawaii and those memories will sustain me through this overwhelming sadness. Rest In Peace my dear dear friend. ❤️

Dear Ann and Davis

Ruth and I are totally shattered. To think we were sharing beers, telling stories and planning new adventures with you just last month. Davis will always be one great guy - someone who has made us all the richer for having as a friend. Thank you for the memories and the laughs. Keep on hitting those balls long and straight. Hugs and tears to all who have known you.

Dear Ann and family - I'm so sorry and sad to hear of the too soon passing of such a wonderful man.  I appreciate your sharing of how he passed. Sorry that doctors were unable to help him fight the infection. My prayers for you all.

Dear Ann

I am so sorry to hear about Davis passing away. Our families prayers and thoughts are with you during this most difficult time.

Sincerely

Joe and Katharina

I first met Davis on the softball field many years ago.  He was one of the best line and drive hitters I have ever seen in men’s slow pitch.  He was always a 3 for 5 hitter and was feared by many.  He was a great athlete and a true gentleman

As time went on I got to know Davis on a personal level as we work at the Hyatt from 2006 until he retired.  As a former Coach at Incline High School for 30 years Davis always followed the teams I coached and always cheered us on.  He was very interested and supported Incline High School Athletics

We also shared many great memories on the golf course  I will never forget what fun we had with the Hyatt Hackers.

Davis was very concerned about the health of my family and always asked and cared about how everyone was doing

I am so sorry about Davis passing. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family and all his good friends.  He will be missed in  many ways.  Our last words at the Hyatt Employee Party this year were let’s tee it up this spring Coach and gave some fun

Sincerely

Joe Humasti

Annie my prayers and thoughts are with you. God bless.

Dear Ann and family we only met Davis a few times at Chris and Theresa's home; but he was the nicest friendly person and we will miss him at the next wine crush.

Our deepest sympathy, Don and Barbara Lacy
