Davie's obituary
Cassandra and Davie enjoyed camping, fishing and just laughing together whether being outside in nature, going to tag sales or spending quality time with family. They were each other’s person. Losing her in 2024 was incredibly difficult for Davie. Although it may have been his diabetes, his loved ones believe he ultimately died of a broken heart. The only consolation in our loss, is knowing they are together again.
Davie had the biggest heart, and always wanted to help everyone. He couldn’t say no. He could start up a conversation with anyone anywhere about nothing. Davie loved cars and driving fast (too fast). His favorite color was purple, and he was an avid gamer. Halloween was their favorite holiday, Davie and Cassandra never failed to decorate. They loved children and animals. Athena was their beloved Pitbull. Davie and Cassandra wanted desperately to have children, but tragically it wasn’t their fate. Davie was adored by his niece Aria and his nephew Bastian. When he walked into a room they screamed his name and ran into his arms. They spent as much time as possible with their friend Earlene’s children Mikaela, Khloe, and Arthur. They considered them their ‘adopted’ children.
Davie’s longest friend was Rose Nilson, Pastor at Andover Congregational Church. Davie and Rose were friends since elementary school and Davie went to high school with her husband Brian. He was Godfather to their son. Davie and Cassandra were proud members of the church.
Davie leaves behind his Uncle Richard Sills, his in-laws Jeff and Michele Anderson, his sisters-in-law Ashlee (Anderson) Beaupre and her husband Brian, Michele Renee (Anderson) Lalonde and her husband Michael, Jennifer Anderson, his nephew Bastian and niece Aria Beaupre, friends Mike Muldoon, Cody Hartford (who he considered a brother,) Earlene Ames and many more. Davie will not be forgotten by anyone who ever met him.
A memorial service will be held at Andover Congregational Church, 359 US-6, Andover, CT on Sunday, Oct 12 at noon. A light luncheon will be held downstairs after the service.
