I knew Davidson in Birmingham when we were both young and friends with all The McLarens.

Davidson, You are greatly missed!  Especially your wise and very balanced counsel.  Your voice and wonderful affect were always soothing in difficult times.  And your wonderful humor is particularly missed.  I don't know where you found some of the jokes and cartoons you sent me over the years, but I recognize your gentle humor when I do come across it!  Thanks for being a great and long friend, from our wonderful Coudert days right down to the present.

Please give my very best regards and love to Hazel, whom you now must be with eternally!
