David's obituary

David Zell, born on December 15, 1961, passed away on October 13, 2025, surrounded by his family. A man of extraordinary character, David lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and endless love for his family and friends. His quirky, loving, and generous nature made him a cherished figure in the lives of all who had the privilege to know him.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Jill, daughter, Ashley, and his sons, Jordan and Daniel. His family was the centerpiece of his world, and his dedication and love for them were evident. He will always be remembered for raising his children with so much dedication and for his steadfast spirit of never giving up, no matter the adversities he faced.

A huge fan of the rock band Rush, amongst others. David found joy and passion in music. He would often reminisce about the band's greatest hits, sharing his love for their music with those around him. David was also an avid NASCAR viewer, and his favorite team was The Chicago Bears. He absolutely loved watching their games and cheering them on.

Fishing and bonfires were among David's favorite recreational activities. He found solace in the tranquility of nature and loved spending quality time next to a nice bonfire. It was during these moments that his unique personality truly shone through.

David also believed strongly in treating others as he would like to be treated. This principle guided him throughout his life, influencing his interactions with people and his decisions. He embodied a legacy of strength and perseverance, leaving a profound impact on those around him.

His greatest accomplishment was his family, and he was enormously proud of them. His resilient personality and unyielding dedication to his family will continue to inspire them and live on in their memories.

David has left behind a wealth of special memories, a testament to a life well-lived. His humor, love, and constant readiness to lend a helping hand will forever be engraved in the hearts of all those who loved him. He will be dearly missed and his legacy will live on forever.
