David and I were married from 1968 to 1980. We just “grew apart” over time. We reconnected about 1997 and continued a strong friendship until he passed. Here he is with my two cats that loved him, on one of his visits up north.

I am saddened for David’s family and friends at the news of his death. We met several years ago when he came to Maine with Bill McLain. We cousins enjoyed our time together, visiting Searsmont and Appleton and sharing our McLain family history. Rest in Peace, David.
