Background
As some may not know, Dave was battling Cirrhosis of the liver and was in need of a Liver Transplant. Unfortunately it is a lengthy process and Dave was unable to receive a liver transplant of his own before his liver completely failed. Making a donation to UCSF will help others like Dave get the transplant they need before it's too late. This is the best way I can think of to honor Dave and help others not have to go through what he did.
