David D. Stodolak, age 61 of Mecosta formerly of Gobles, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 6, 2020 at his home. He was born November 10, 1958, in Bay City, the son of Donald and Nancy (Reno) Stodolak. Dave was an avid outdoorsman; hunting, fishing, camping, and boating. He enjoyed collecting and polishing rocks.
David loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Jackie Stodolak; his parents, Donald and Nancy Stodolak; four children, Amanda (Paul) Netkowski, Chance Stodolak, Dustin (Abby) Dunn, and Chaz (Becky) Stodolak; six grandchildren, Bailey Linke, Vada and Eva Netkowski, Mason and Myles Dunn, and Ila Jane Stodolak; five siblings, Linda (Susan) Stodolak, Scott Stodolak, Terry Cornell, Jerry (Sandra) Stodolak, and Tonya (Chris) Niernberg; father and mother-in-law, Dennis and Sharon Ahler; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in David’s name to the family’s wishes.
Cremation and care entrusted to the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton.
