I’ve known David about 55 years. He was a friend to all people and enjoyed fostering friendships which he did by bringing people together in social settings. One of these events was an annual beach house gathering of classmates from high school. Today I honored his life by writing his name in the sand on the beach. RIP dear friend and my deepest condolences are extended to all family and friends who mourn this loss of a great man.

My heart is heavy to hear of your passing!   I will forever cherish the memories of your sweet personality and caring heart!   
We met in Jr High (your 8th grade/my 7th grade year) summer band practice and ….on day one of marching, I passed out due to heat exhaustion and you and Tad Gray rescued me from my fall and the 3 of us became great friends every since!   You became my first boyfriend and walked me home from school often.   Oh….the laughs were shared on the bus trips with our “band friends” going to and from the weekly football games and UIL trips.
I’m so  blessed that through the 50+ years we always somehow “would run into each other” and briefly catch-up and reminisce.

You are one in a million that always reached out over and beyond to keep your “classmates in touch with each other”.   Always planning get together’s and inviting everyone you know!  You are a GOOD MAN❣️

Thanks for the memories.  You will truly be missed …….True Friends Always
