David's obituary
David Christopher Searcy, 41, of Fayetteville passed away December
2, 2022 at Washington Regional Medical Center at 1:11 p.m. He
was born June 2, 1981 in Wynne to David Wilson and Carolyn Ann
Tarwater Searcy. Exactly 97 minutes after becoming a donor in spirit
and receiving the Walk of Honor he let go peacefully.
David was a jack of all trades, and the most giving person you would
have ever met. He'd give you the shirt off of his back even if it was
the last thing he owned to help you. He did not mind going without!
He's worked from construction jobs, logging, and farming all the
way to inside a restaurant. His last job was at a Sonic Drive-In as
their cook / maintenance man, and no do not try to picture him in
that scenario, he never did look like he belong there, but he worked
hard and built relationships with everyone of his co-workers that
they will all cherish forever.
David was preceded in death by his parents, David and Carolyn Searcy; and his grandparents
C.M. and Glenda Tarwater of Cross County, and Jerry Searcy of Vanndale, AR.
Survivors include his wife, Hannah Searcy of Fayetteville; his kids Blake Moran, David "Hank"
Searcy, Briona Searcy, and Renesmee Searcy of Sand springs, Oklahoma; his step kids Samuel
Braman, Braydin Hollaway, Stormy Hollaway, Adam Pittman, and Easton Fare of Wynne; his
sister Angela Gooding of Fayetteville; his grandmother Dorothy Searcy of Vanndale; and lots of
nieces and nephews and one great niece Feay Harwood.
He was also survived by his 7 fur babies (cats) Stoner (mom), Ginger, Fluffy, Skeeter, Trouble,
Wynonna, and Thumper. I almost forgot to include his entire world and he would have haunted
me for that!
At this time there will be no further services conducted until after he is cremated and shared
within the small circle of family, after a small portion of his ashes will be taken and spread out at
his secret spot and details on this will be provided by his wife and a memorial service in Wynne
will be planned by his sister look for the information on Facebook.
