Schouten, David Adam, age 34, of Hawthorne, on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Born in Ridgewood, David was raised in Hawthorne and had recently lived in Brooklyn. He worked as a hair stylist for Lugo Salon in Astoria, NY.

David was the beloved son of the late David Henry Schouten (2009) and Mary Schouten and her husband Michael Norris of Haskell. Loving brother of Matthew Schouten of Hawthorne, Heather Han and her husband Dr. Chang Han of Franklin Lakes and Daniel Schouten of Rochelle Park. Dear grandson of Nancy Ritchie of Hawthorne, the late Edward Ritchie, and the late Lois and John Schouten. Dearest uncle of Eloise and Landon.

Funeral service will be private with interment at Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
