Longtime Kodiak resident, David Carey Salzer, 76, passed away April 30,2025 at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage surrounded by family and close friends.
He was born on February 3, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio to Bonnie Lee Carey and Edward George Salzer. He graduated from Del Oro High School in Loomis, CA with the honor of being one of their star football players. His whole life was lived with a “work hard, play hard” mentality …
