It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Rushford on January 31, 2026. Born on September 6, 1976, David lived a full, vibrant life characterized by his unique passions and deep love for his family.

David will be deeply missed by his beloved family. He is survived by his father, Gary Rushford, his mother, Sharon Rushford, and his sister, Lauri Derk. His spirit will continue to live on through his children, …

No memorial events are planned

Since those that David held close to heart live out of state, we decided not to have a formal gathering for him at this time. We wouldn’t want anyone to feel left out for not being able to attend. His wishes were to be cremated and we may get together in the distant future to scatter his ashes or plant a tree in his honor. We would, however, like for you to share photos, memories, or stories about David here on this site. We also plan on putting together a memorial video for him, which we will share when it is finished.
