Background

Three times a week, David found community and friends at this amazing place. Founded in 2015, 413 FITNESS was the first gym in Central Texas to use non-contact boxing to help individuals with movement disorders, such as Parkinson’s, fight back against their condition. Donations by check can be mailed to:
413 Fitness
303 Willow Bend
Center Point, TX 78020

Or email Kristi Richards for more options: fightback@413.fitness

No matter how he was feeling, nothing brought a smile to David’s face like an animal. Whether it was his grandcats, Pumpkin & Luna, the neighbors’ dogs, or simply the birds and squirrels on the balcony - David loved them all. He also taught his daughter, Susan how to rescue baby birds and humanely take bugs outside using a Dixie cup. Something she does to this day.
