With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of a great man, David Michael Reyes. David was born on January 28, 1950, and peacefully departed from this life on August 7, 2023. He was a man marked by boldness, determination, and compassion. He had an encouraging spirit and strong love and faith in the Lord.

Those privileged to know David were gifted with his unique lessons. He taught us to treat others with love, to firmly place our trust in the Lord, and to glorify God in everything that we do. He lived out these principles with exceptional grace and dedication, providing a strong foundation for others to follow.

David was an accomplished man who lived life to the fullest. His adventures as an intense water skier and accomplished black diamond snow skier, were widely recognized. However, his greatest accomplishments were his roles as a husband, father, grandfather, and worship leader. He was a beacon of light for his family and friends, always leading with love and humility.

David will always be remembered for his legacy of unyielding strength, perseverance, and intense love for his family. His transformative influence will continue to inspire and guide those he has left behind. He will be missed by his wife, Julia, daughters Michelle, Vanessa (Joseph), Ashley (Andrew), grandsons Allston and Aeson, mother, Patricia, as well as numerous family and friends.

We take solace in the fact that David's life was not merely about survival, but rather about the influence he had and the difference he made during his journey on Earth. His life was indeed well-lived, blessed, and God-honoring. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate a life fully-lived, characterized by fervor, love, faith and an unyielding spirit.
